Halloween season isn’t quite over yet! I had a lot of fun picking out some decor to celebrate the season this year in our home. So I thought I’d share several of my favorite items and tips for making your home as cozy as mine was in October!

Making simple swaps instead of adding to your normal home decor is a great tip I try to really utilize. It’s an easy way to refresh your space! First, swap out your regular candles for Halloween-themed ones. Spooky or pumpkin-shaped candles create an eery festive atmosphere.

Change out your every day throw pillows and blankets in your family room for ones with Halloween patterns and colors. Look for pillows with bats, pumpkins, spiderwebs or even just solid black or orange. Here are my favorite pillows: Orange Halloween Throw Pillow

Temporarily replace your usual artwork or wall decor with Halloween-themed prints or posters. You can find lots of inexpensive ones and even print your own. If you are looking for more, you could definitely change out the frame, too, for a black matte frame. These Black Bat frames and prints are super fun!

Add Halloween-themed dish ware! Use plates, bowls and cups for your meals and snacks that have a Halloween flare to them! You could also look for serving dishes with designs featuring ghosts, witches, skulls or pumpkins! I love this festive Bronze Skull Candy Bowl!

I love swapping out some of my artificial flowers around my home as the seasons change. This is no different for Halloween, and bonus, it’s good for Thanksgiving as well! Check out these Baby’s Breath Orange Artificial Flowers

Another swap so as to not clutter your home with holiday decor is Halloween-themed curtains! Maybe something you didn’t think about as a switch, but choosing spooky curtains or applying window clings really changes your space dramatically!

Finally, an easy one, and one that is becoming more and more trendy is to switch out your doormat for those trick or treaters coming to your house! There are so many cute ones with sayings and themes that you can choose which best fits your style!

I picked out a few other simple decor options on my Amazon Favorites list! Check them out!
